Terms of Service

Welcome to my portfolio! By engaging my services, you agree to the following Terms of Service. These terms apply to all web design, end-to-end development, project management, and IT tutoring services provided through this site.

NOTE: The terms that guide digital writing/content curation are separate from this and they will be made available to you after you have made contact with me.

Please read them carefully before proceeding.

  1. Services Offered

Based on the following services:

  • Web Design: Custom web design solutions tailored to your needs.
  • End-to-End Development: Full-stack web development, from front-end design to back-end implementation.
  • Project Management: Overseeing the entire development process, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • IT Tutoring: Personalized online and offline IT tutoring sessions to suit your learning goals.

 

  1. Payment Terms

Web Design, End-to-End Development, and Project Management:

  • Payment Schedule:
    • 75% of the total project cost is due upon project commencement.
    • The remaining 25% is due upon project completion and delivery.
  • Payments Due:
    • All payments are due within 24 hours of the signed agreement. Failure to make timely payments will result in penalties as outlined below.

Late Payments:

  • Up to 30 days late: A late fee of 1.5% of the total due amount.
  • 31-60 days late: A late fee of 2% of the total due amount.
  • Over 60 days late: A late fee of 3% of the total due amount.

 

IT Tutoring:

  • Online Classes: Charged per session, with payment due before the class begins.
  • Offline Classes: Charged on a weekly or monthly basis, with payments due at the start of each week or month.

 

 

  1. Cancellation Policy

Web Design, End-to-End Development, and Project Management:

  • Early Cancellation: If you cancel before project work begins, a fee of 25% of the total project cost will be charged.
  • Mid-Project Cancellation: If the project is canceled after work has commenced but before completion, a fee of 50% of the total project cost will be charged.
  • Late Cancellation: If the project is canceled within the final stages of delivery, a fee of 75% of the total project cost will be charged.

 

IT Tutoring:

  • Cancellations for tutoring sessions must be made 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged. If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, a 50% fee of the scheduled session cost will be charged.

 

 

  1. Changes to the Project Scope

Any changes to the agreed project scope, including additional features or functionalities, will be considered out-of-scope and will incur additional charges. Any such changes will be agreed upon in writing before proceeding with the work.

 

  1. Confidentiality

I respect your privacy and confidentiality. All information shared during the course of the project or tutoring sessions will remain confidential and will not be disclosed to any third parties without your prior consent, unless required by law.

 

  1. Project Timeline

I will provide you with a project timeline at the start of the project. However, the timeline is subject to change based on your feedback, changes to the project scope, and other factors. Delays due to client feedback or approval will extend the project timeline.

 

  1. Ownership of Work

Upon receipt of full payment, you will retain ownership of the final project deliverables, including designs, code, and content created for your project. I retain the right to use the work for promotional purposes, such as displaying it in my portfolio.

 

  1. Limitation of Liability

While I strive to provide the highest quality service, I am not liable for any damages or losses resulting from errors, omissions, or delays in the project. My total liability is limited to the total amount paid for the specific service provided.

 

  1. Intellectual Property

Any intellectual property, including but not limited to designs, code, logos, and content created as part of the project, is owned by the client upon final payment. However, I retain the right to use the work in promotional materials and as part of my portfolio.

 

  1. Changes to Terms of Service

I may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the effective date will be updated. Please review this page periodically to stay informed about any changes.
